Hakuna Matata – Perspective of Praise

July 25, 2021

Week 1

What we fear…either…

  • Never happens.
  • Does and isn’t as ___ as we thought.
  • Worst case – Happens then God carries you through.

Week 2

– Anxiety is a sign
– If it’s big enough to worry about – its big enough to pray about

Philippians 4:4-7 NIV Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: RejoiceLet your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Perspective – How you ___ _________.

Acts 16:25-26, 29-30 NIV About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
